I already know about deleting the browser history and I also clean out my prefetch also. I am constantly defraging my computer with 10Bit smart defrag. I also run Windows Advanced Care 2 and AD-AWARE scans and C-CLEANER as well. Is there any other files or places I can clean out as well on a regular basis in order to keep my computer running at it's best? I know I have a huge amount of files in my System 32 file. Are there any files in that that would be safe to delete? I also have a file titled 'cache'. A couple of years ago a top technician with Microsoft took control of my computer to resolve a problem I was having. He went into a lot of places and deleted a lot of stuff but he was moving so fast I could not keep up with him enough to remember where all he went. Afterward though my computer was really fast and smooth running. I hope someone can help me.

Hm honestly its better not to mess with that stuff unless you know exactly what you are doing. Even if people try to give you detailed advice here, it's usually hard to follow, and can cause more problems than solve. The best thing u can do is defrag like you are already doing, scan for viruses like once a week, and update ur definitions once in awhile. Don't go to any *weird* websites, cause thats where u pick up most of the trash. If ur PC starts to get sluggish, just format and reinstall windows. It'll be a lot faster that way, trust me.

Don't touch System32 ! Delete cache. Uninstall any programs that you don't use, in AWC2/ Startup untick all except the security and system items.

Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some regsitry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".
Everytime you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Regisry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!
There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.
